Welcome
About
I am a Graduate Student and a Teaching Assistant working in the School of Computing and Information Science department at University of Maine.
Previously, I was appointed as a Researcher in BRAC University. My research focuses on general AI & Machine Learning. I use various statistical data science technology such as machine learning/deep learning to solve issues in the field of Autonomous systems, Edge Computing, Computer Vision/Graphics, interpretable machine learning, etc.
In the realm of Computer Vision/Graphics, I am intrigued by the potential of AI to understand and interpret visual data. From object detection and recognition to image generation and manipulation, I aim to push the boundaries of computer vision algorithms. By combining deep learning with computer graphics techniques, I strive to create systems that can analyze and understand visual content with human-level accuracy. Furthermore, I am passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its applications. I believe that enabling machines to understand and process human language can revolutionize various industries.
My academic journey began with the pursuit of a BSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. During this time, I developed a methodological toolkit that enabled me to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex policy problems, specifically in the areas of climate change and illicit finance. Under the guidance of Professor Md. Golam Rabiul Alam, I had the privilege of collaborating on several significant research projects. As a result, I have contributed as an author or co-author to numerous articles published in esteemed conferences and journals.
While my primary focus lies in AI and Machine Learning, I have a broader interest in interdisciplinary research. I believe that by collaborating with experts from diverse fields, we can uncover innovative solutions to complex problems. This mindset has allowed me to explore the intersection of AI with other domains, such as climate change and illicit finance. By applying my methodological toolkit, I have gained insights into the intricate challenges associated with these issues and strive to contribute to their mitigation through AI-driven approaches.
